No. 20 JOHN JERRY
Ole Miss senior offensive lineman
Why he's No. 21: A mammoth and versatile athlete, the 6-foot-5, 350-pound Jerry has started at both right guard and his current position of right tackle for the Rebels. Best known as perhaps the SEC's best run blocker, he has improved against pass rushers. Mississippi offensive line coach Mike Markuson said Jerry is a quick study when the Rebels put in new schemes.
Key numbers: 2. Projected as an NFL guard, early 2010 mock drafts list Jerry as a potential first- or second-round pick. If he goes in the first, it will be the second straight year a Rebel lineman achieved that feat. Left tackle Michael Oher was the 23rd overall selection (by Baltimore) in the 2009 draft.
Fun facts: Jerry's cousins Eddie Strong and Dwayne Rudd are both NFL free-agent linebackers.
