Orange County deputy shoots three suspects after attempted traffic stop

ORLANDO, Fla. Authorities say a deputy shot three suspects near an Orange County middle school during an attempted traffic stop.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials arrived on the scene early Monday morning. Cpl. Susan Soto, of the sheriff's office, says that according to reports, the shooting near Carver Middle School happened after the deputy tried to pull over a car but the driver of the vehicle refused to stop.

The suspects were taken to an Orlando hospital.
