Police search for burglary suspect with pink pillowcase in car window

High Springs Police are looking for a man driving a car with a pink pillowcase in one window who is a suspect in a Tuesday morning burglary.

The burglary was reported at 9:10 a.m. by a woman who saw the man walking out of her home with her laptop computer. The woman told police it was the same man she had seen about 10 minutes earlier at an intersection close to her home.

According to High Springs Police Chief James Troiano, the man is black, 20 to 30 years old, is about five-foot eight with a medium build and was wearing a light blue and white bandana on his head.

The man was seen in an older model, two door sedan that may have been a Toyota Celica. The car had a loose or hanging black front bumper and may have had a North Carolina license plate. The car appeared to have a pink pillow case in the rear window, Troiano said.
