Florida offensive tackle Carl Johnson's former girlfriend has dropped a restraining order she had obtained against him in February.
In the restraining order, Johnson's ex-girlfriend alleged she had been physically and emotionally abused by Johnson, and that he date-raped her three times last fall.
No criminal charges were brought against Johnson from those accusations.
Johnson was arrested in February for violating the restraining order. The charge was dropped by the State Attorney's Office due to lack of evidence.
UF coach Urban Meyer said Monday that Johnson is in good standing with the football team. The junior from Durham, N.C., is participating in spring drills and is lining up as the starting left tackle.
