In the span of less than a week, Florida has increased its 2010 recruiting class from four to six.

Bradenton, Fla., Southeast safety Jonathan Dowling made six when he verbally committed to the Gators Sunday, while on an unofficial visit to Gainesville.

"I committed to Florida earlier today," Dowling told Rivals.com. "It just feels like home sweet home here."

Dowling is the fourth Gator commit for 2010 that is expected to play in the defensive backfield.

As a junior, Dowling had 48 tackles and 14 interceptions. He chose UF over Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, Notre Dame, among others.
