Three men were shot early Saturday morning outside the B&S Combs Elks Lodge at 2510 E. Washington St. in Lake City and were taken to hospitals in Gainesville for treatment, reported the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
One suspect has been arrested and two others are being sought, said Ed Seifert of the Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened about 12:30 a.m.
Detectives say the three suspects fired multiple shots into a crowd in the parking lot. Seifert said the motive was not clear and the names of the victims were not released.
Arrested was Marcus O. Jones, 18. He was charged with three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and jailed on $250,000 bond, Seifert said.
Sought by authorities are Bruce L. Harris, 19, on three counts of attempted murder; and Jeffrey J. Clark, 19, on three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Harris and Clark is asked to call the Sheriff's Office or Columbia County Crime Stoppers.
