Darrin Horn: The South Carolina coach has his team playing at a high level, leading the SEC East at 9-4. The Gamecocks are actually filling their arena where they are unbeaten in SEC play.
LSU’s passing: The Tigers have taken over the lead in assists for SEC games with 211. That’s one more than Florida has dished out in conference games.
Scotty Hopson: The Tennessee freshman started slowly for the Vols, but has come on of late. Hopson scored a career-high 21 points in Wednesday’s win over Mississippi State.
Billy Gillispie: The Kentucky coach saw his team start SEC play with five straight wins, but the Wildcats are 3-5 since and Gillispie is complaining about individuals who aren’t playing hard.
Arkansas’ arc: The Razorbacks have it all. They are last in 3-point shooting in conference games at 28.6 percent and last in defending the 3 at 40.1 percent.
Ole Miss’ misses: The Rebels struggled against Auburn. How bad was it? They missed 13 straight shots and started the second half with a 1-of-17 stretch.
