Charles now is down to three schools — Georgia, Southern Cal and Tennessee — and will announce his decision at Plant on March 6.
Even though UF was in the running for Charles, the Gators were considered a long shot to land the four-star prospect.
Charles, who has yet to qualify academically, has given no indication where he will end up, although many believe Georgia is the team to beat. Charles’ quarterback at Plant, Aaron Murray, is an early enrollee at Georgia and will be competing for playing time this spring.
