University of Florida offensive lineman Carl Johnson was arrested Monday by University Police and charged with a first-degree misdemeanor for violating a sexual violence restraining order.
According to a UPD arrest report, Johnson, a junior, passed up several opportunities to get off a bus and waited for a woman to exit at the campus HUB.
The woman had been granted a temporary restraining order against Johnson, 21, a week ago, according to police.
UF coach Urban Meyer could not be reached for comment.
Johnson, who is from Durham, N.C., started nine games last season at left guard in place of injured senior Jim Tartt. He is expected to challenge for a starting role at one of the offensive tackle positions in the spring.
