O-lineman Johnson arrested

<p>University of Florida offensive lineman Carl Johnson was arrested Monday by University Police and charged with a first-degree misdemeanor for violating a sexual violence restraining order.</p><p>According to a UPD arrest report, Johnson, a junior, passed up several opportunities to get off a bus and waited for a woman to exit at the campus HUB.</p><p> The woman had been granted a temporary restraining order against Johnson, 21, a week ago, according to police.</p><p>UF coach Urban Meyer could not be reached for comment.</p><p>Johnson, who is from Durham, N.C., started nine games last season at left guard in place of injured senior Jim Tartt. He is expected to challenge for a starting role at one of the offensive tackle positions in the spring.</p>
