Brooks leads women's hoops past Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Sha Brooks scored 25 points and had a career-high 10 assists and No. 12 Florida hit a school-record 13 3-pointers to beat Arkansas 94-78 on Sunday.


Florida (20-2, 6-1 Southeastern Conference) is tied atop the conference with Auburn and Vanderbilt. It’s the 10th time the Gators have reached 20 victories and first since 2005-06.

Brooks hit four 3-pointers as Florida was 13-for-21 (62 percent) from behind the arc.

Marshae Dotson and Lonnika Thompson each scored 16 points for the Gators.

Ayana Brereton and Lyndsay Harris had 17 points each for Arkansas (12-9, 1-6).
