ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A bomb squad says two mortar rounds found in a southwest Florida mobile home park are not live.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office bomb squad said the mortar rounds, a 60 millimeter round and another round with a fuse in it, posed no threat.
Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies initially came to the area to dispose of a revolver and found the explosives in a covered porch at the home. Residents were kept inside their homes while authorities investigated.
