A Gainesville woman was booked into the Alachua County Jail early Wednesday for allegedly driving at a woman she had been fighting with.
Anginita Jones, 22, of 6007 NE 78th Lane, was charged with aggravated battery, failing to stop at a crash involving personal injury, and driving while her license was suspended or revoked.
According to Gainesville police Officer John Koprowski, the Jan. 21 incident happened at 1:34 a.m. in the 200 block of NW 2nd Ave.
Jones had reportedly been fighting with Carla Lee, then got into a car, made a U-turn and drove at Lee, hitting and injuring Lee's left foot before leaving the scene.
No bail had been set for Jones by late Wednesday.
