A Levy County man was arrested Friday on several charges related to a Thursday night drive-by shooting in Bronson.
Arrested was Robert Hughes, 18, of 10370 NE 81st St., reported the Levy County Sheriff's Office.
Hughes was charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Authorities allege Hughes was driving on Pine Street about 10:10 p.m. Thursday when he tried to buy marijuana from several people on the street.
Hughes reportedly taunted the people as he continued driving, turned around and fired three shots at the four people — two of whom were standing in a yard, while the two others were sitting in a car.
One of the victims, Timothy Neal, had been arrested Jan. 7 for allegedly stealing a pair of Nike sneakers from Hughes, the Sheriff's Office reported.
