Good Morning GainesvilleMoms,

What a great time we had at the GainesvilleMoms Anniversary Party this past Sunday. I am so glad the weather didn’t get too cold on us and that we were able to come together and celebrate. Thank you all so much for making GainesvilleMoms such a wonderful site. You can see some pictures of the event posted here.

There are SEVERAL more events just around the corner on GainesvilleMoms!

• GainesvilleMoms Movie Night is this Friday, Jan. 23. Join us for a potluck and to watch a cute chick flick at one of our mom’s home. For details, click here.

• GainesvilleMoms Moms’ Night Out is Friday, Jan. 30. We’re going to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant. For details, click here.

• GainesvilleMoms DoArt Diva Night is Friday, Feb. 6. DoArt is an amazing art studio where you can go and paint pieces of pottery. The pieces will make great Valentine’s Day gifts! (And don’t worry if you’re not exactly an artist. I’m not either!) For details, click here.

• Gainesvillemoms next Evening Playgroup is Thursday, Feb. 12. Bring your kids for fun at a local park. For details, click here.

I hope to see you all at the upcoming events!

Also, don’t forget to learn more about our Mom of the Week, Sylvia (ViaVilla), here! Today is “Thursday Questions,” so you can ask Sylvia anything you’d like to know about her and her wonderful family.

And last but not least, are there any moms out there who would be interested in starting a book club? From what a few moms have said on the site, it seems like we have some pretty avid readers! Click here if you’re interested!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Stay Warm!
