Several media outlets are reporting that former Florida quarterback Cameron Newton has decided to enroll at an unnamed junior college in Texas, with plans to sign with a major college next year.

Newton, a sophomore from Atlanta, was kicked off the team by UF coach Urban Meyer last November after Newton was arrested for felony theft for allegedly stealing another UF student's computer.

The departure of Newton has left the Gators with only two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster Tim Tebow and redshirt freshman John Brantley.
