FORT LAUDERDALE — Florida junior quarterback Tim Tebow announced that he has filed paperwork with the NFL to see where he would project to go in the draft if he chooses to come out early.
Tebow said he will not even consider a possible decision until after Thursday night's game.
"(It's) filed," Tebow said. "I feel good, but I'm not even worried about it. I'm excited to be here in Miami, and I'm ready to go play the Sooners."
Tebow had said on Dec. 17 after a practice that he intended to file his paperwork, but added that he had "no clue" which way he was leaning. "I haven't even been thinking about it so far," he said.
On Sunday, Dec. 7 before the Heisman Ceremony in New York, Tebow said he was leaning toward coming back to Florida for his senior season, but said afterward that he was "fifty-fifty" on the decision to leave UF early.
