Clay deputies search for teen who ran away
Clay County deputies were searching for a missing Keystone Heights teenager Friday, the law enforcement agency reported.
Sarah Turner, 17, ran away from home on Oct. 22, the Clay County Sheriff's Office reported.
Officers do not suspect foul play but reported a 27-year-old man whom Turner considered her boyfriend may have been involved.
The man had previously been the subject of a temporary protection order, preventing contact with Turner, the Sheriff's Office reported. Detectives were investigating if the man was involved in the missing girl's disappearance.
It is possible Turner left Florida and went to Kentucky, where the man had relocated, the Sheriff's Office reported.
Anyone with information about Turner is asked to contact Detective Mark Tate at (904) 264-6512.

Missing boy, 8, found in McDonald's restaurant
WEST PALM BEACH — A boy missing four days was found in a West Palm Beach McDonald's after someone recognized his picture from the news and called police.
Police say 8-year-old Jonathan Thomas didn't know they were looking for him.
When an officer approached him in the restaurant with a newspaper, he pointed at the picture and said, "That's me!"
Thomas was taken from school Tuesday by his mentally ill mother, who had lost custody.
He said he stayed a while at his grandmother's home and slept one night in a car. Thomas was unharmed, but hadn't showered in days and was very hungry.
He ate two regular-sized adult breakfasts in the restaurant.
Thomas said he was excited to get home, get some rest and get back to his homework.
