She will be at Gator City, 1728 W. University Ave., from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. She will also be outside Lae Tanning and Boutique, the tanning salon she owns at 1636 W. University Ave., on Saturday before the LSU game.
Anderson will be joined by Stacy Fullson, fellow Playmate and fellow anchor at FoxxyNews, a Web site featuring Playboy Playmates and models discussing entertainment and sports in video clips.
Both Anderson and Fullson appear in the calendar, along with six other Playmates and four professional models.
Excited about the debut of the calendar, Anderson said in a phone interview that it should draw attention to FoxxyNews, which Anderson says offers legitimate news — but offers it in a sexy and entertaining fashion.
Most of Anderson's videos on the site are about sports. An avid Gator fan, Anderson mentions her favorite football team every chance she gets, she said.
Kellie Anderson, Lauren's older sister, said she thinks Lauren is well-suited for the job at FoxxyNews.
"We're a major sports family, so she actually knows what she's talking about," Kellie said.
Besides working for the Web site and owning her own tanning salon and boutique, Anderson said she is working on other projects, too.
Anderson said she'll be appearing in future episodes of HBO's "Entourage," which airs on Sundays at 10 p.m.
Anderson also said she has her own television show in the works, although she can't disclose any other information at this time. Her schedule keeps her busy, but Anderson said she loves the opportunities she's had to travel. She estimates these days she spends 30 percent to 40 percent of her time in Gainesville, and otherwise is doing a lot of traveling.
She was living in Los Angeles, but tries to avoid the city when she can. She stays at the Playboy Mansion when she does visit, she said. "Los Angeles is too busy and hectic, so I like to just do my business and leave," she said, calling herself a "small-town girl."
She considers Gainesville to be her home base, with her family and her own house still here.
Anderson hopes to one day finish her degree in animal sciences. She only has three classes left, and would have to come back to UF, where she was a student in 2002, to complete them.
