Police in Gainesville and High Springs are asking for help in finding a suspect in a bank robbery and an unrelated burglary and grand theft case.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Quinten O. Golston, 21, of Gainesville.
According to High Springs Police Chief James Troiano, on Sept. 26, Golston is accused of holding up the Capital City Bank branch on Santa Fe Boulevard while another man, Dashawn Q. Lewis, 26, is accused of driving the getaway car. Lewis has already been arrested on a charge of accessory to robbery.
Gainesville Police are looking for Golston in connection with the unrelated burglary and grand theft charges.
Golston was released from the state prison in December after serving a 15-month sentence for grand theft and burglary of an occupied building.
According to the Florida Department of Corrections, Golston’s most identifiying marks include a tattoo of the word “pimpin” on his left arm and a tattoo of the word “young” on his right arm.
The last address the prison system had for Golston was 2910 NE 14th Drive in Gainesville.
Anyone with information on where Golston may be is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or to call Crime Stoppers at (352) 372-7867. The organization will allow callers to remain anonymous and is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Golston’s arrest.
