Get ready for some rain as this weekend's weather outlook looks wet.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday with an 80 percent chance of rain, 10 to 15 mph winds and a high in the upper 80s. The mostly cloudy sky will linger through the evening with a low in the mid 70s and a 50 percent chance of rain, according to Scott Carroll, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Jacksonville.
The increased amount of rain is coming from the Gulf Coast, where storms have been forming in the morning, Carroll said.
Saturday's weather forecast isn't giving pool goers much hope, with a the 70 percent
chance of precipitation, highs in the upper 80s and 5 to 10 mph winds. The evening calls for temperatures in the lower 70s and a 30 percent chance of rain.
Sunday calls for a high around 90 and a 50 percent chance of rain.
