No. 17 — D.J. Moore
Vanderbilt
Junior cornerback
Why he's No. 17: Moore is one of the most versatile athletes in the SEC. One of the nation's best cornerbacks, Moore also is the Commodores' primary kickoff return man. Last season he intercepted six passes, recorded 83 total tackles, broke up 10 passes and had a sack.
Key number: 13. The number of tackles Moore had in a 24-10 loss to Alabama last season. That's a huge number for a cornerback.
Fun fact: Moore was Mr. Everything at Broome High School in Spartanburg, S.C. He was all-state in football twice, all-state in basketball three times and the state champion in the high jump his senior season. At VU, Moore is a member of the French honors organization.
