JUNIOR DEFENSIVE END, KENTUCKY
Why he's No. 24: Jarmon was a terror last year on a defense that wasn't very good. He has blossomed into one of the league's best pass rushers without compromising his ability to stop the run. You can bet SEC offensive coordinators will gameplan for Jarmon this season.
Key number: 9. Jarmon had nine sacks as a redshirt sophomore last year which was the fourth best total in a conference known for its defensive linemen.
Fun fact: Jarmon is a budding actor who landed a role in the production of “Weak/Side/Help” after the chairwoman of the UK theatre department saw a CBS segment where he recited Jack Nicholson's speech from “A Few Good Men.”
