MIAMI A judge is moving the trial of a Miami teenager accused of murdering his 14-year-old friend to another city because of intense media coverage.

The trial of 18-year-old Michael Hernandez will now be held in Orlando. Circuit Judge John Schlesinger issued the order Tuesday after Hernandez's lawyer and prosecutors agreed that a change of venue was necessary to ensure a fair trial.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. He is accused of fatally stabbing Jaime Gough to death in a middle school bathroom in 2004.

If convicted Hernandez faces life in prison without parole.
