A White Springs woman was serious condition following a Hamilton County crash Wednesday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Kari A. Harrington, 24, was flown to Shands at the University of Florida after she was ejected from her car in the crash, troopers reported. The wreck occurred at about 6 p.m. on County Road 137, about six miles north of White Springs.

Harrington had been driving south on the road but lost control of her 2003 Kia as she approached a curve in the roadway. The car traveled onto the road's shoulder and overturned twice. Harrington, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle.

Troopers reported that Harrington's injuries did not appear life-threatening.
