Former GPD officer is the subject of internal investigation

John Bostick resigned on Friday, police spokeswoman Officer Summer Hallett
said.
Hallett said she could not provide other information about Bostick's
resignation but confirmed that there is an ongoing internal investigation
involving the former GPD officer.
Law enforcement sources have indicated the internal review involves drug investigations conducted by officers.
Bostick had been sworn as an officer in 2000, Hallett said. He worked in
patrol for the agency and currently had been assigned to the agency's Tactical Impact Unit. The group handled a variety of reports, ranging from alleged drug activity to weapons violations, in an effort to stem violent crimes such as robberies.
