Fifth-ranked Florida opened the 11th annual Bryan Park National Collegiate in second place with a 10-over-par score of 298.
The Gators trail top-ranked Duke by four strokes for the lead. The Blue Devils fired a 6-over 294 on Friday. North Carolina is in third at 12-over 300, and Auburn and Furman are tied for fourth place at 13-over 301.
