UF men's tennis edged by Miami

CORAL GABLES — The No. 13 Gators came up short in its first road contest of the year as Florida fell, 4-3, to Miami on Tuesday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. With the loss, UF fell to 1-1 on the year while the Hurricanes improved to 3-0.
The match was even at three and came down to the last singles court in play before Miami’s J.C. Whitner gave the Hurricanes the 4-3 advantage by defeating UF’s Erik Corace on court six, 7-6, 1-6, 6-3.
