BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says three deputies and a suspect were injured during an early morning struggle.
The sheriff's office says Deputies Lorin Tembeckjian, James Evans and John Orozco were injured while pursing 26-year-old Bronson Antao of Boynton Beach.
The deputies were treated at a hospital and released. The suspect was transported to Delray Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
Authorities say two of the officers stopped a car Antao was driving shortly after midnight Wednesday, but the suspect allegedly began to drive off and struck a deputy. At least one of the deputies fired at Antao.
Antao has been charged with two counts of attempted murder of an officer and other charges.
He remains hospitalized and it was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
