Freeze warning issued for area

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville issued a freeze warning for Gainesville tonight, as temperatures are expected to drop to 30 degrees Monday morning between 4 and 8 a.m.

Monday afternoon temperatures are expected to warm to 65 degrees, with winds between 3 and 7 mph.

The low Monday night is forecasted at 33 degrees with frost likely before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday should be sunny with a high of 71 degrees and a low around 53 degrees.
