The fourth-ranked Florida women’s tennis team continued its homestand Thursday against Central Florida, defeating the Golden Knights, 7-0, at the Ring Tennis Complex. The Gators (2-0) won all six matches in straight sets to highlight singles action and handled the Knights in fashion similar to Wednesday’s season-opening win versus Stetson.

The Gators extended their winning streak to 24 games and moved to 6-0 all time against the Knights. The opening serve was delayed for 20 minutes as the court was cleared after a light rainfall.
