Devan Downey: The diminutive South Carolina guard is leading the conference in scoring and has yet to meet a shot he won't take.
Gator offense: Florida is not only leading the league in scoring (82.5) and shooting (47.4 percent), but the Gators are finding different ways to score points.
Kentucky starters: They can rest after the season, but Ramel Bradley and Patrick Patterson have played 415 of a possible 430 minutes this month.
Arkansas hands: John Pelphrey's Razorbacks have lost two straight to SEC East bottom-feeders because the team can't hold the ball. Arkie has 36 turnovers in those games.
Alabama shooting: It's difficult to understand how the Tide could be 0-4 in the league so far but one explanation could be 5-of-34 from 3 in the last two games.
Auburn size: The Tigers don't have any which is why they rank last in the league in shots blocked and rebounds.
