Burroughs bettered his indoor PR by more than three feet with a toss of 18.04m/59-2.25 in the shot put en route to collecting the first victory of his career last Saturday.
The only male runner to win multiple events at the Big Ten/SEC Challenge, Wilks finished first in both the 60m and 200m on his way to claiming SEC Male Runner of the Week and Male Freshman of the Week accolades.
