JARRETT BAKER/Special to The Sun

Year: Senior

Height: 5-foot-0

Weight class: 119-pound class

Athlete you admire most: Tim Tebow. He is a young athlete and he inspires me to try my hardest and to be the best I can be. He does a phenomenal job when he is on the field and he has taken his sport to the next level by winning the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore.

Biggest strength/weakness you have in your sport: Strength: My ability to focus and my mentality before I lift (weights); Weakness: My assertiveness as a captain of the team.

College choices: I plan to attend Santa Fe Community College next year and then transfer to the University of Florida.

Dream job: I would love to be a nutrition and wellness counselor to help young kids who are struggling with their weight.

E-mail, text or phone call: Text.

Favorite pro and college teams: College: Florida Gators; Pro: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Goal this season: My personal goal this year is to win the state title at the 119-pound weight class. The team goal is for the whole team to come together as one focused and confident group. I think that will make a difference.

Hardest practice drill: For me, it is the after-practice calisthenics that we do.

Idol(s): My two older brothers Curtis and Corey Spicer. They enlisted in the Army this past year and they have always been an inspiration to me.

Juice, milk or coffee in the morning: Milk.

Kind of shoes you wear: I wear flip flops all of the time. My favorites are my brown Reefs.

Last time you laughed out loud: (Tuesday) on the way to our meet at Columbia, I saw a picture of teammate Alyssa Henry who attempted to curl her hair on Monday night. It turned out bad and she had a very large afro in the photo. I laughed so hard, I almost cried.

Movie you love: “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.”

Nickname(s): Squirt. It is what my dad has called me all of my life.

Off-sport hobby: I like to sing.

Pregame ritual: I stretch my arms and my legs right before I lift.

Quirky habit: I suck my thumb.

Rival you want to beat most: Spruce Creek as a team.

Song you sing in the shower that could go to No. 1 on the charts: “Our Song”

by Taylor Swift.

Television show you can't miss: "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit."

Useless fact about you: I always wear mismatched socks.

Vocal teammate:o Ryonne McKnight.

Worst loss:o At the state meet my freshman year, I completed my clean and jerk lift of 125 pounds but I was so excited that I did not control the bar and when I dropped it and it bounced off the platform and I did not get credit for the lift.

X-rays: Labrum, my left knee cap, right ankle and I've also had an echocardiogram.

Your best friend: Laura Bozeman.

Zany thing your coach once said:o Coach Steve Bauer says, “dip and shoot” all of the time. He says it when we are lifting and even when we are not. The way he says it is funny.
