Current Senate President and Student Body President hopeful Kevin Reilly announced Monday that he will hold interviews to fill the vice president and treasurer positions on his executive ticket for the upcoming Spring election.

The interviewing process, which is open to all UF students with or without SG experience, will take place Thursday and Friday.

Opening up the interviewing process to all students rather than just current SG officials will provide a better chance of finding the most qualified candidates, Reilly said.

"I wanted to reach out to everyone across campus for this," he said. "This will give students who may have never been able to see themselves working in SG a chance."

While no SG experience is necessary, candidates should be focused on communicating with all students to find practical improvements for their everyday lives, according to Reilly's news release.

Candidates should also have in mind goals and objectives they wish to reach while in office, he said.

For any further information or to schedule an interview with Reilly, interested students should e-mail him at
