Public practices provide glimpse of Gators

Another season, another toughness test.
That's what is facing Urban Meyer's third Florida team. Just like the UF teams before this one, Meyer is questioning the Gators' toughness heading into the season.
Last year's team gave the head ball coach a definitive answer: It was one tough team, with a come-from-behind wins the order of the season.
Meyer isn't sure about the 2007 version, yet.
But he's about to find out. Practice starts Sunday at the UF practice field and Meyer said this is going to be a hot, physical and demanding preseason camp.
"Our training camp is going to be really hard," Meyer said last week at SEC Media Days. "It's going to be really hot, like it always is. We're going to find out what kind of team we are. Are we able to handle the hard? I don't know that."
For the six days of practice, UF fans will have the opportunity to see how the Gators respond when they're pushed in the August heat.
The following practices are open to the public and will be held at the UF practice field next to the O'Connell Center. After Aug. 10, all practices are closed to the media and the general public:
Sunday: 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.-9:40 p.m.
Monday: 5 a.m.-7 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
Tuesday: 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
Wednesday: 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
Thursday: 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
Friday: 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
