Everett signs with Bengals

Another key player in Florida's national championship run this past season is heading to the NFL.
The latest former Gator to sign a free-agent contract is outside linebacker Earl Everett, who has hooked up with the Cincinnati Bengals. Everett signed with the Bengals on Monday morning.
The Gators now have 18 players from last year's team that will start pursuing a pro career in the next two weeks.
A nation-high nine UF players were drafted this past weekend and nine others have signed free-agent contracts. Seven of the nine drafted were defensive players.
