arlos Morales is a busy man these days. The head groundskeeper for McKethan Stadium, home of the University of Florida baseball team, is preparing for the start of the season. Florida plays host to VMI on Friday, Feb. 9.

Practice began last week, and the Gators recently moved into their new locker rooms, part of a $13 million renovation to the stadium and the Lemerand Center.

The UF baseball team is looking to rebound from a disappointing 28-28 season in 2006.
