It was with sadness I read in the recent obituaries of the passing of Kenneth A. Kerslake. I have known Ken since the early '80's when he first became a contributor and supporter of the Council for Exceptional Children Annual Art Auction.
For the past 20 years, he generously donated a work from his internationally recognized art collection. These pieces sold as one of the most valuable items, the proceeds from which go to provide money for requests from teachers in Alachua County for special needs for their exceptional students.
In 1999, Ken was honored by the local CEC chapter with the Robert Little Award, as a token of thanks and recognition for his many years of support.
On behalf of the members of the Gatorland Chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children, I extend our sincere sympathies to the Kerslake family and want them to know that Ken Kerslake will always be remembered by its members.

Lispbeth Gets,
