TALLAHASSEE — Everyone knows Florida's got a lot of oranges. But just what does Ohio have?
Florida's new Gov. Charlie Crist had no clue what to seek from Ohio Gov.-elect Ted Strickland if the Florida Gators beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in Monday's college football national championship game.
Crist, a Florida State Seminole who is actually rooting for the Gators, settled for the buckeye-shaped delights with a peanut-butter inside and chocolate covering.
Strickland will send those if his team loses; Crist will send citrus. The losing governor also will fly the other state's flag over the governor's mansion for one day.
