Gov. Crist begins the year as a clean slate, the self-professed "people's governor" who imagines that all goals are attainable with sufficient partisan goodwill, hard work and lot's of political capital. Inaugurations are an occasion to dream big and paint a vision for the future with a broad brush. There's very little not to like about the vision painted by Gov. Crist on Tuesday in Tallahassee. And Floridians are a patient lot. But visioning is easy; governing is hard.
