Into the blue
Kate Millinor, 20 months, of Gainesville, stares into a 320-gallon saltwater reef aquarium at Ocean Exotics in southwest Gainesville on Wednesday afternoon. The tank, at the aquarium wholesale store located on Archer Road, is filled with a variety of saltwater fish. ABOVE: A lopezi tang, left, and blue tang swim around the saltwater aquarium. RIGHT: A yellow tang, center, swims around the aquarium, with at least 30 other saltwater fish and a mixture of soft and hard coral. Ocean Exotics has been managed by Paul and Nicole Almeida of Gainesville for five months. The couple gets about three shipments of fish, coral invertebrates and dry aquarium goods per week to stock the store. Most of the shipments come from California.
