Is Bush simply too old to lead my generation?

I want to be in solidarity with my president: George W. Bush. I want to believe his foreign policy has something to do with America's future good.
But all I see is the dead and dying. American troops dead and/or maimed. By the thousands. Iraqi civilians dead and/or maimed by the hundreds of thousands.
Future good? Whose future good?
Is he preserving oil for my grandchildren? I would have to tell our president that my grandchildren do not require the death of others in order to survive the oil crisis. Given a choice, they would choose researching alternative fuels.
Well, maybe this is a moment in time when the youngest of us will have to stand up to say so. Maybe the current administration is simply too old to lead.
