Rattlers hang on for OT win

ATLANTA - Wesley Taylor kicked a 34-yard field goal in overtime to give Florida A&M a 25-22 victory over Tennessee State on Saturday.
Playing on a neutral field in the Georgia Dome before a crowd of 57,885, the Tigers (2-3) took a 7-3 lead in the second quarter when Antonio Heffner found Jeremy Stephens on a 28-yard touchdown pass.
The Rattlers (3-2) scored 16 unanswered points when Albert Chester hit Gerard Morgan for an 82-yard scoring pass, then later tossed a 28-yarder to Ronald Wright for another score. Wesley, who made 4-of-6 attempts, kicked a 47-yard field to give Florida A&M a 19-7 lead in the fourth.
But Tennessee State's late rally tied the game at 22, capped by Heffner's 15-yard touchdown pass to Chris Johson with 15 seconds left in the game, sending the game into overtime.
Chester, who completed 13-of-25 passes, threw for 218 yards and had an interception. Anthony Edwards ran for 101 yards on 24 carries, while Jason Beach had 13 tackles for the Rattlers.
In the loss, Javarr Williams rushed 33 times for 229 yards and a touchdown. Heffner, who went 16 for 28, passed for 210 yards and threw an interception.
