Position: Wide receiver.
Years he played: 2000-01.
Top 100 credentials: Gaffney led the Gators in receiving during both of his seasons at UF, catching 138 passes and scoring 27 touchdowns.
He set a national freshman record for touchdown catches and has two of the eight best seasons in receptions in UF history.
How he shined: Gaffney and Reche Caldwell formed a devastating 1-2 punch for Rex Grossman and Jesse Palmer, but Gaffney was the more consistent player.
He was more likely to get the ball when Florida needed a big play and his “catch” against Tennessee is still one of the most talked about plays in the history of the rivalry.
Making his mark: Had Gaffney played longer, he'd have been higher on this list.
Where is he now: Gaffney is a wide receiver with the Philadelphia Eagles.
