On Wednesday, Sidney Lanier Anchor School, a school for students with mental and developmental disabilities, honored eight graduates with diplomas.

"It's a highlight moment in their lives, their teachers and their families," school Principal Cathy Costello said. "It's every family's dream to have their child graduate and just because their child has a disability they should never be excluded. It's such a celebration of who they are. It's their glory day," she said.
