A personal choice even if a dumb choice

The author of the "Phony Baloney Argument" editorial (March 26) does not realize that speeding, running red lights and not coming to a full stop at stop signs endanger other traffic participants and thus are not "personal affairs" of the offender. Failure to wear a seat belt endangers nobody but the dummy who doesn't buckle up. It is therefore a personal - if stupid - choice.
