Folks, get a life

Now, let me get this straight: if a homosexual employee at UF wants insurance for his/her partner, they must pledge that they are, in fact, having sex. This places them in the unusual position of "Damned if they do; uninsured if they don't."
If all employees are going to be treated fairly, the heterosexual couples should also comply with that edict, and to be absolutely fair, what about single employees? Do they get off the hook?
Truly, this is one of the most ingenious attempts to control behavior that has yet surfaced. Evidently, some folks have way too much time on their hands and they spend it trying to figure out how to invade others' privacy, curtail their civil rights and generally decide how everyone should conduct themselves.
Hey folks, get a life -- heck, get several - but mind your own business and let people do their jobs without getting jobbed.
