Marriage initiative reflects state's majority

Ron Cunningham's column of Jan. 22 (It's time to wave the bloody flag) accuses Florida's Republican Party of bankrolling the Florida4Marriage initiative. Of course they did! That's precisely why we donors give them our money. We consider it wise spending toward a bill that is reflective of the state's majority.
Of course The Sun manages to translate being for traditional marriage into being against gays, waving its own bloody flag by playing the built-by-association game to the hilt.
How, yawn, surprising, coming from the center of the ivory bubble on 13th Street. Why, claiming that Republicans are behind this marriage initiative is like accusing The Sun of being a propaganda rag for the New York Times! Then again...
