In a recent Sun article titled "Evolving debate in schools," Nathan Crabbe wrote of the so-called debate between science and religion. However, evolution is a not a true scientific theory. It cannot be tested or observed. It has no more evidence for it than ID (Intelligent Design).
In the article, School Board member Eileen Roy said of ID: "It's not science. It's not derived from the scientific method. It can't be tested, proved or disproved." This statement could easily have been talking about evolution or ID.
I'm not saying evolution is evil and that we should all embrace religion. I merely want people to be able to see both sides of the issue, and decide for themselves which seems to be truth.
